Welcome to Ms. Lori's Children's Garden - a play based home child care for children ages 2 1/2 to 6 years old. Come join us in the play woods and garden!
What We’re All About
Our day will be filled with plenty of free playtime both inside and outside, as well as a daily walk, circle time, games, stories, rest time and crafts. A natural, homemade and organic lunch and afternoon snack will be served daily.
Your child will be cared for in a warm, home environment, having the opportunity to gather food from the garden, help bake our snack muffins or rolls, and take part in preparing meals and cleaning up!

My husband and I are empty nesters. Our five daughters all still living in Wisconsin, one right here in Viroqua with her husband.
I worked for 11 years as an Assistant Kindergarten Teacher at Pleasant Ridge Waldorf School. I am excited to be offering my own home child care program.
I feel very passionate about caring for young children. I love working with small groups because I feel as if I have a better opportunity to focus on each child individually and the group as a whole. Being able to offer care all day and all year long is a bonus to families. I feel a homey setting is easier to come to for the young child.
Opening Hours
I am available Mondays through Thursdays from 8 to 5pm. I offer 3 or 4 day programs, the three day running Tuesday through Thursday or Monday through Wednesday.
I will be closed for the week of all bank holidays (4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, and Memorial Day) as well as the day of and the day after Halloween and the Friday before Easter through the week following Easter Sunday.

Cold weather (late fall through early spring, when mornings start off in the 40’s)
8am Indoor play and work (baking and lunch prep)
9:30am Potty and transition outdoors
9:45am Outdoor playtime (& walk until there is significant snow)
